After moving into our urban dwelling, I started gardening and growing some vegetables in the summer.
Since then, we've expanded.
I began with a couple tomato plants and herbs,
then added peppers and squash,
then tried a Fall garden,
and now my husband and I are trying to utilize every square inch of our city lot to produce food for our own consumption.
These are our humble beginnings,
with the goal of eventually reaching closer to self-sufficiency.
We would love to, some day, own more property to help us achieve that goal,
but for now, we're striving to do the best with what we have. :)
